Welcome

I’m Wendy, a Transactional Analyst offering face‑to‑face therapy in Faversham. I bring over 40 years of experience working both privately and within the NHS, supporting adults with a wide range of emotional, relational, and psychological difficulties. My practice is a calm, confidential space where you can explore what’s happening in your life with warmth, curiosity, and without judgement.

Therapy is a place to slow down, speak freely, and be met with genuine interest and care. Many people come because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure how to move forward. Others come with long‑standing patterns that keep repeating in relationships or in their inner world. Whatever brings you here, you will be met with respect, steadiness, and a collaborative approach.

What Therapy is About

Therapy is not about being “fixed” or analysed from a distance. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply — your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and the patterns that shape your relationships. It’s about exploring how past experiences influence the present, and discovering new ways of responding that feel more grounded, authentic, and compassionate.

Therapy Offers

A safe, confidential space to talk openly

A chance to understand long‑standing patterns

Support in managing anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm

Tools for building confidence and healthier boundaries

A collaborative relationship where change can unfold at your pace

My work is grounded in Transactional Analysis (TA), a clear and compassionate approach that helps us understand the “conversations” happening inside us — and the dynamics we experience with others. TA offers practical insight into how we relate, why certain patterns repeat, and how we can begin to shift them.

My Experience

Across four decades in both private practice and the NHS, I have worked with many different presentations, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self‑esteem, trauma responses, people‑pleasing, burnout, and identity changes. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt the work to what you need, whether you’re dealing with something new or something that has been present for many years.

I also use routine outcome measures alongside our sessions to help track progress. These simple tools give us a clear picture of how things are shifting over time and help ensure the therapy is supporting you effectively.

I registered with the following professional bodies: BACP/UKCP/UKATA.

Anxiety Group

Alongside individual therapy, I offer a bespoke 6‑session anxiety group. This small, supportive group blends TA understanding with CBT‑informed tools to help you manage anxiety more effectively and build confidence in everyday life. It’s a gentle, structured programme ideal for people who want practical strategies in a safe group environment.
